The City Museum extends its gratitude to the Ateneo de Zamboanga University (ADZU) Senior High School for the opportunity of a collaborative lecture session on local history and culture. The lecture program is an initiative of the City Museum to step up its efforts to promote the city’s history and cultural heritage beyond its museum walls. One of the goals of the City Museum is to increase cultural awareness by promoting a better understanding of the history, culture, and unique Chabacano language of the city. Hence, this occasion advances these goals.
With this first lecture activity since the pandemic, the City Museum also aims to further its partnerships with other local schools and work more collaboratively in the future. Thus, the City Museum once more extends its invitation to Zamboanga’s local schools to participate in this joint lecture on local history and culture.
