The Museum Services met with Councilor Vino Guingona and discussed the office’s goals, strategies, and museum and culture-related issues and concerns. The Councilor, who serves as the Chair of the Committee for Tourism, Arts, Culture, and Foreign Relations, took the opportunity to tour and assess the condition of the facility.
The Zamboanga City Museum aimed to collaborate with his honor’s office to coordinate the plans for culture and history. Some of the essential issues discussed were the local policies on culture, present museum programs, installation of cultural markers, and condition of the museum edifices.
The Zamboanga City Museum is dedicated to realizing all its programs and fostering a deeper appreciation for the local history and culture.
