On December 02, 2021 at around 9:00am, Ms. Maribel Baes, OCENR personnel, received a call from Mr. Romeo Quitoy, a resident of San Roque, Hipolito drive, this City informing that they have captured a reticulated phyton in the vicinity of their residents at around 12 in the evening. The team headed by For. Gerry Pollisco, For. Arthur Paclibar, Gary Manuel, and Eufemia Lorenzo immediately went to the area and informed the DENR- CENRO. The wildlife was brought to the City Veterinarian office for further assessment. The following data were recorded:

After the observation and per recommendation of DENR-CENRO ZC and City Veterinarian’s Office, the animal was free to be released to its natural habitat. The said wildlife was released at the Pasonanca within the vicinity of Pasonanca Natural Park.
