MAYOR ORDERS AGGRESSIVE STEPS VS DENGUE: Mayor Beng Climaco urges agencies/ departments concerned to exhaust all means to address the dengue problem in the city, as she called for greater community participation in the prevention and control of the mosquito-borne disease. The mayor is also set to meet with the barangays to discuss the importance of counterparting in the fight against dengue. The city government is mobilizing all available resources to address dengue which has been declared a national epidemic. The mayor convened an inter-agency coordination meeting at the CDRRMO Friday morning with the presence of representatives from the DOH-9, City Health Office, CDRRMO, DILG City office, Council Committee on Health and Council Committee on Disaster and Relief Services, Liga ng mga Barangay, DEPED-9 and ZCPO.
