Cops free man caught on video sexually abusing dog

ZAMBOANGA CITY – The police have released the man who was caught sexually abusing a dog in Putik village, Zamboanga City on Christmas Day.

According to Chief Insp. Arlan Delumpines, chief of police of Station 5, the owner of the dog expressed no interest in pursuing the case against the suspect.

The suspect immediately went home after he was released from jail.

However, he was kicked out from the boarding house he was renting.

Western Mindanao State University psychology professor Clarissa Miranda said the suspect’s act is usually common to people who are considered as zoophilic, or those who have sexual attractions to animals.

She added that the suspect was intoxicated when he committed the sexual act. At such condition, Miranda said the suspect was not in his right frame of mind and became irrational.
